Besides going up in the arch there are two reasons I would go back to St. Louis, Missouri. First, let’s get this out of the way… going up in the arch could be compared to a roller coaster… just saying. It was a bit scary for me, but still worth it. Ok, with that information out of the way let me tell you about which museum to go to.
My friend Katie went on this road trip with me, which was such a blast. I think that was a first for our crazy friendship besides camp in high school. The first place we went to was The City Museum. First off I am always looking for places to go that will inspire creativity. If a space inspires creativity I WILL be there again. Something about creativity that you need to know if you want to be more creative: creativity takes always changing, moving, living. The City Museum’s motto is “always building”. As you can see from the photos below this place is insane! This is a museum, both adults and kids love. My favorite was the rooftop ferris wheel and the slide that that is ten stories long. If you want to be inspired go to The City Museum.

Just the other day a graphic designer reached out to me and asked if he could design some doughnut graphics for me. His exact words were, “I have noticed you post a lot of doughnuts”. I laughed, because it is true. I love doughnuts. I love food. I am a foodie. This why the next place you should check out is a place of food.
Visit Blondies on Washington st. downtown St. Louis. You don’t have to be blonde, don’t worry. Blondies is a Coffee, wine and dessert bar. Basically everything you want on vacation, this place has it. If Katie and I had found this place earlier we would have gone here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I was craving a burger and Katie had been wanting ice cream all weekend. Blondies had both, including my all time favorite dessert: Ooey Gooey Cake. Sound crazy, but it is by far the best.
I could go on and on about this place, but just know it is basically amazing.
