Travel Makeup Needs + Ellis James Designs

I remember the first time I bought a makeup bag. I was leaving for a trip with my family to London and Paris. Then I got this rash on my face and couldn’t use any of the makeup I had brought. I remember running around Paris looking for some type of creme that would take away the rash. Wow, haha when you are traveling the unpredictable happens. That’s why I want to tell you about the travel things I do use. I almost always bring a makeup bag around the size of the one above on my trips.

This bag is a beautiful British style inspired cosmetic bag by Ellis James Designs. I love how many brush compartments there are, the size of the two containers, and the minimalistic look. If you are in need of a makeup bag I would definitely recommend this one.

Here are my three absolute favorite makeup needs.

For a good coverage foundation I use Tarte Face Tape Foundation. The reason I love this company and their products, they have amazingly healthy formulas. This foundation really does stay on all day. I should know since I am going from 4:30 am till 9 pm most days.

  • Tarte 12-hour power
  • Vegan
  • Hypoallergenic
  • 12-hour hydration
  • Transfer-proof
  • Waterproof
  • Sweatproof

I am always bringing my Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow To Go. I also have the PRO pallet by Tarte, but my Tarte Tarteist Pro Glow To Go is what I will bring around with me.

Lastly, I am always bringing my Equilibria cream with me. This helps with headaches, any travel anxiety, and relaxation. I carry one in my purse and another is sitting on my bedside table.

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know which products you tried. What are your must makeup needs when you travel?
