My friend Elizabeth loves to thrift. I go with her because she totally knows all the best places to shop. Each Thursday it is my new goal to update you on all the best places in Chicago to thrift at. I will also let you know what I run into, why I bought it and how I would wear it. This is such a great way to get ideas for outfits and keep within your budget. Be inspired!
This week we went to Buffalo Exchange. The location we went to was in Wicker Park. It was gorgeous out and everyone on the streets had their canon camera out. I don’t really know why but I noticed it because I recently sold my canon. ANYWAYS. We stopped to get donuts. If you didn’t know you can get free donuts if you have the app PopularPays and 500 follows on Instagram you do now. So totally check that out!
Buffalo Exchange is really great for high end clothing lines. The room is pretty small, however, well organized. The staff is really friendly and there are dressing rooms in the back of the store. I bought a dress and a shirt from J. Crew, both around $20 and both still had the tag on. Great buys! I wanted a dress with a little more color than black… which means vintage pink. Love the color! The top I bought has a cute bow tie made out of rhine stones. What do you think? Pretty cute right!? I love thrifting in the city because there are many clothes you can find that are barely worn. That is how both of these pieces are. I do not buy unless they look almost new.
