Iman Ogundeko is a fashion fanatic. Her educational background is in Anthropology and pre-medicine that included performing research and learning about different cultures. Her professional background is in fashion retail and worked for both Tom Ford and Nordstrom. She really knows her stuff!
“If I think too much I feel like my outfit will look forced. My two words are effortless and cool! You can play around with fashion. You can be a different person everyday”.
-Iman says when asked why she loves fashion.
How does your family influence your fashion taste?
I grew up in a strict family. Because of that I want to try everything!
Where do you get your fashion inspiration?
Tumblr, other bloggers, pretty much looking around me.
Has traveling influenced your fashion?
I have mostly traveled to Europe. I look at how fashion is different from the states. I also went to China. They have crazy stuff. They like to mix and match more. They like to dress cutsy and girly… you know pink hair…
How have your friends influenced your fashion?
Sometimes they influence my fashion, I have a few fashion forward friends. I look at their style first. I am not sure how much they actually influence my personal fashion.
Where do you like to shop?
I love to shop online. ASOS is my favorite. The pries are great. I love Zara. I also thrift when I have the time!
I also look on Instagram because I love Australian fashion.
I really loved talking to Iman and she reminded me of how much I loved visiting Roger’s Park and Lincoln Square, Chicago. She is easy to talk to and loves talking about fashion as an art. This charming person is currently looking for more work experience and modeling happens to be one of her hobbies. Check out her adventures on Instagram HERE and read about her accomplishments on her lovely website HERE
