So this photoshoot was taken by my dad. How sweet is that. I asked my brother to help me this week and I got the teenage boy shrug. You know, the shrug that little sibs do when they don’t want to do something you want to do? I still do the shrug. But to myself. When I have to dress up.
And all I want to do is watch netflix, eat peanut butter and chocolate chips.
I do the teenage shrug.
I recently went to T.J. Max and grabbed this dress because I knew I wasn’t feeling cute and that this week I had a lot going on, including needing to look cute. So how do you look cute when you don’t feel cute?
You fake it.
I know you know what I am talking about. So here are some dresses that I have found work amazing when you need to look cute but don’t feel cute. When you fake it.
These are dresses you can party in when you really just want to be home binge watching Friends.
Hey didn’t my dad do amazing? So that’s where my brother got it from!
My Two Words are: FAKE IT
Here are three dresses I think you will love. And here are three things to look for when you are looking for a comfy dress you can party in this fall:
1 . Do not buy a dress that is form fitting. You are not going to wear it unless you are ok with being uncomfortable. Are you ok with being uncomfortable? I didn’t think so.
2 . Best type of dress is a shift dress. If you are large chested wear a sports bra. This will help you look petite over all in this style.
3 . Find a neckline that works. Necklines are important. Each neckline does different things for different people. I am enjoying the high crew neck, however, because my shoulders are not broad a v-cut neck line looks good on me as well.
Which dress works for you?
