I am nowhere near getting married, but I thought I would talk about this contest that was very interesting to me. There are girls out there who will actually create a wedding dress out of toilet paper. Yea, I am not joking. The joke is actually on me because the dresses do not look that bad. I took this description off of the official Charmin Blog,
The Winner of last Year’s Contest From ABC News
“Toilet paper isn’t just great for getting a clean behind. They also make pretty great cheap, chic, toilet paper wedding dresses. That’s exactly why Charmin sponsored the Cheap Chic Weddings Toilet Paper Dress contest for 6 years, starting in 2010.”
This means that there have been 12 price winners and others who have participated in creating a wedding gown out of toilet paper.
Contestants will use up anywhere from 6 rolls of toilet paper to 74. That’s so much toilet paper! What is the motivation for this fun contest? Every year there is a fan favorite, who receives a year supply of Ultra Strong Toilet Paper. If there is anything I have learned about being an adult is that good toilet paper is worth it, even creating a dress out of the stuff!
And the official winner receives up to $10,000 dollars. Now, that is not enough money for the average Chicago wedding, however, it would help a bride plan her wedding… Maybe even purchase a wedding gown not made out of Charmin Toilet Paper.
