When I was a little girl my mom would volunteer at a local food pantry. I don’t remember ever going with her but I would imagine what a “food pantry” might look like. When I asked her she explained that not all mommies and daddies are able to afford groceries for their kids. But those parents could go to a food pantry and bring home food for their families. I must have been impacted and astonished, because I remember that conversation like it happened yesterday. I remember grabbing cans from our kitchen, and telling my mom that I was full and we could give these away. I know you have a similar desire to help kids and families in need, and a love for fashion. I found a great way to bring our two passions together. I am wearing a t-shirt from Imago Dei Attire. This shop kills it with awesome, faith- based graphic tees. And the best part is, this April 10% of the proceeds will go to one of my favorite non-profits called, Little Help Food Pantry in Lake Village, Indiana.
See I knew you would be as excited to help out as I was when I first heard about food pantries!
My sandals are from Top Shop last season, but here are similar ones. I love platform sandals because they give you height and are comfortable. My pleated skirt is from Forever 21 and my hat is from H&M. Always have a good leather jacket on hand. Although summer is coming, you will still have the opportunity to look edgy in a black leather jacket!
Enjoy this amazing spring weather and wear a pleated skirt and don’t forget to stop by Imago Dei Attire to donate to Little Help Food Pantry.
