This Fall’s Hottest Color Combo Will Surprise You

We are waiting for the fall leaves to change colors and my parent’s pumpkin patch is growing and taking over the back yard. It’s fall! The time when green and brown colors do not remind us of  babies diapers. Well, guess what! This season is different.

The two colors this fall you will want to experiment with are pink and yellow. I am going to challenge you to think out of the box with these two colors. Here’s why.

pinkMy dad says a trend in landscaping this fall is pairing cabbage and mums together in flower beds. Why? I have no idea, but apparently those two plants are difficult to pair other landscape designs, but work well together. I am allergic to both diary and gluten but for some reason I can handle pizza…. This is how yellow and pink tend to be in fashion. Both are hard colors to match with other primary colors. I usually pair pink with jeans, white or black and yellow I avoid all together. So here is your guide to pairing pink and yellow together this season.

My top is from Anthropologie and my skirt is from Charlotterusse. The cheapest place to get a tulle skirt these days. I also found a scarf to pull the two colors together. I was not bold enough to add an extra color, but I created this guide to your left for adding other colors. The last time these colors where hot was in the 1960s so I had fun.The midi skirt and the high collared top reminds me of the 60s. The 60s was the time of the Beatles, Buddy Holly and the Rolling Stones. Musicians and the art culture were all just the beginning of the rebellious youth culture. The term “teen” wasn’t really coined until that time. These musicians paved the way for Rock and Roll and the rebellious attitude that came with the art. So be rebellious. Instead of wearing dark colors wear pink and yellow this fall. What will you do with your shade of pink and yellow? Don’t forget to Think out of the Box.
