(I don’t know where my top is from but I linked a top that could give you a similar look.)
I have been enjoying the weird spring weather here in Chicago. Pair a knee high boot with a cap sleeved dress and you are ready for whatever life throws at you.
What has life thrown at you lately? These last two weeks I have had two possible opportunities that have been super exciting. Nothing worked out, but the fact that these possibilities exist for me is exciting. If you are in the entertainment industry you know what its like to put yourself out there over and over again only to get rejected.
I was talking to someone who is an Opera singer and is trying to get established here in Chicago. I can’t imagine the confidence it takes to start over in a big city. I asked her if she did any kind of pre interview or audition ritual. She said no she just goes for it. One of my friends in the arts said he hated talking about exciting projects he was working. He went on to explain that many art projects that are in the works are possibilities and not always going to work out. I think thats what is hard about the art and entertainment world. Each new project is a possibility. Each possibility is like a job interview, not so much a job.
No matter how many possible opportunities come your way, remember life is limitless. You can do this. Keep auditioning. Keep singing. Keep creating. And don’t stop. No matter what life throws at you.
Ok, wasn’t planning on writing that! But now that I did I think I’ll keep it in this post.
Ok, back to knee high boots….
If you feel like it is to late in the game to buy a pair I would disagree. I think these boots are great for the spring and maybe even the summer.
And here are a few Outfit ideas for the spring!
My two words for this outfit are Knee High. What are your two words?
