A Full Life: How to Get Ready for a Fashion Show

If you are like me… Which I don’t think you are because I am pretty weird… but if you are… You ask yourself questions like what do you wear to go horse back riding? Your brother’s tennis game? Your BFF’s bachelorette party that just happens to have horse back riding on the list of activities?…. Or how do you get ready for a fashion show?

Do I get ready in my Louis Vuitton’s or do I go minimalistic grunge with my converse and black… everything black… These are valid questions because, again, if you are like me, you get yourself into weird, exciting but random situations. How do you dress the part?

Well here is what I did. I went to a fashion show at a smaller boutique called Bevello. The store has quite a few locations in the area and I love, love, love their clothes. I also bought a dress because I love it! Did I mention I loved Bevello? My college roommate was in town and I thought going to an event like this one was something fun that we haven’t done in Chicago. This is very surprising since we have done literally everything… including sneaking to the top of one of the Marina Towers…

I wore something basic. A dress from Forever 21 and a necklace from Anthro. The rest is not worth mentioning. Zoe, my companion for the night, wore a high necked dress that looked just adorable on her. The question of what do you wear to a fashion show when you are going to a fashion show to get more tips on how to be fashionable was answered by the end of the night… sorry that was for sure a run on sentence…

Be you. Wear what you want to wear. You play the best you in a life full of complicated characters. Don’t dress the part, be the part.

Was that cheesy? Probably. Oh well.
